Gemelos 22
Gemelos 22, a large residential complex in Benidorm that we built in only three years, is a demonstration of Covalencia’s technical capacity.
Building this major project meant that we had to overcome the considerable technical challenges of the unique characteristics of the site, the complex building system and its extraordinary size (Gemelos 22 is the largest development built in Benidorm in the last 10 years).
Figures for the ‘Gemelos 22’ project:
- 412 apartments of one, two and three bedrooms, in three towers. Two 32 floor (twin) towers with 37 frameworks and one of 21 floors of which 24 frameworks.
- Total height of each tower: Tower 1 & 2 (Twin towers = 114 meters. Tower 3 = 78 meters).
- Total m2 of reinforced concrete. Concrete wall colum to 7 meters in length and 52.000 m2 of face concret.
- Total shuttering undertaken = 106.000m2 (surface area larger than 16 football fields).
- Total marmol flooring = 31.000 m2.
- Other flooring= 33.000 m2.
- Total ceramic tiling = 32.000 m2.
- Total paint coverage of 1 coat= 48.000 m2.
- Total plaster coverage = 110.000 m2.
- Total wall partitions Knauf, which distinct systems = 60.000 m2.
- Total brick walls 1/2 foot= 45.000 m2.
- Lake swimming pool with three overflowing ducts and 1.500 m2 of water.
- Climatized indoor swimming-pool.
- Two padel courts, tennis court, Sport track, etc.
- Real completion time 3 years (36 months).
